The South Brunswick Family YMCA Child Development Center offers full day and half-day summer programs for children 3-5 years old. Included in our summer program are weekly themed events including no-bake cooking, crafts, water play, on-site entertainment and field trips. Register on a weekly or monthly basis.

 • Child Development CenterAvailable from 2 months - 5 years old.Plan ahead. Spaces are limited.Contact Ruth Todd.Open 7:00am to 6:30pm. State licensed Multi-use facility: gym, pool, dance studio and gymnastics center. Developmentally appropriate curriculum with an emphasis on academic achievement. Full–Day Tuition Includes: Breakfast (7:00–8:00am), weekly swim lesson for 3–5 year olds,
morning and afternoon snacks. |

 • Infants & ToddlersInfants 2 months-18 months old*
Specially trained teachers meet your infant’s needs in this secure, family–like setting. Your child thrives as he/she reaches the developmental milestones of infancy. *Transition to Toddlers is based on readiness. Toddlers 18 months-24 months old*
Teachers help toddlers develop their independence as they play and safely explore their environment. Days are filled with sensory play and music and movement. Lesson plans focus on language development, motor skills and self-help skills.

 • 2-5 years old (Full Time) • Preschool, 2-3 years old Older toddlers receive the encouragement they need as they continue to grow and master more self–help skills. Arts and crafts, reading, puzzles, outdoor play and a wide variety of other age–appropriate activities are woven into each day. • Pre-Kinder Prep, 3 - 4 years old (must be 3 years old by 10/31) Students develop their intellectual, emotional and social skills using activities that focus on pre–reading, language, math, computers and science. Self-reliance and coping skills are encouraged. Weekly swim lessons are included. • Kinder Prep, 4 -5 years old (must be 4 by 10/31) The goal of Kinder Prep is to prepare your child for a positive social and educational kindergarten experience. Our curriculum challenges your child in language, computers, math and science. Weekly swim lessons and daily gym time are included. |

 • 2-5 years old (Part Time) • Preschool Club I 2-3 years old (must be 2 by 10/31)
Your child will participate in a “traditional” nursery school experience in this half day program. Fun filled days that include storytelling, arts crafts, music and movement are in store. Preschool Club is the perfect setting for your child’s first classroom experience! Toilet training assistance provided. Open 9:00am–1:00pm with the option of day (M-F)day (M/W/F); or 2 day (T/Th) enrollment. • Preschool Club II or III 3 -4 years old (Preschool II must be 3 by 10/31, Preschool Club III must be 4 by 10/31) This program helps children develop their intellectual, emotional and social skills by participating in circle time, creative expression, pre-math, pre-reading, science and nature activities. Children must be toilet trained. Open from 9:00am–2:00pm with the option of day (M-F)day (M/ W/F); or 2 day (T/Th) enrollment. |

How To Enroll
Registration happens year around until each class is filled to capacity. A space may be reserved for your child by submitting a completed enrollment packet, a current immunization record, a registration fee and a two-week deposit. Included in the enrollment packet is a Universal Health Record which must be completed by your child's physician and submitted at least one week prior to start date.
Arrange a Tour The best time to drop by
for a tour is Monday-Friday, 9:30-11:00am. Appointments are encouraged. Tours are not provided during naptime (12:30-3:30pm). Please contact Director,
