| Membership Fees
 

• Annual MembershipAnnual membership is paid in full. If annual renewal payment has not been received by the second notice, your membership will be canceled. Memberships are non-refundable. Initial payment: Registration fee plus the annual fee.

• Continuous Memberships A continuous membership that does not expire. Payment is automatically deducted from your checking account or credit card each month. The membership fee may change with a 30-day written notice. If the bank draft is returned for any reason you will be required to pay a $30 service charge, you will have a 10 day period to come in and pay; otherwise your account will be drafted the membership fee plus a $30 service charge for each draft returned. Initial payment: Registration fee plus first month.

• Fees All fees are non-refundable. Accepted methods of payment: cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express. Please note there is a $25 fee for returned checks and/ or declined credit cards.

 

• Membership Policies

1. Memberships are non-refundable & non-transferable.

2. All program and membership fees are subject to change without notice.

3. All users must have a valid YMCA membership.

4. 30 days notice is required on any membership holds, cancellations or downgrades.

5. Annual memberships can be canceled; however, refunds will not be given for unused months.

6. Continuous memberships on a monthly bank/credit card draft may be placed on hold for up to 3 months per year. A 30 day written notice is required for any membership hold. Your membership will resume billing after the third month.

7. Membership upgrades may occur at any time. Your new membership will be pro-rated based upon the unused portion, if any, of your current membership.

8. All members are required to scan their key tags each time they enter the facility. You must have a valid key tag to enter and/or participate in programs.

9. Email is our main method of communication with our members. Your email address will not be sold or given to a third party for any reason.

• Membership Transfers Memberships are not transferable between YMCAs; however, any member in good standing, may request a letter stating the type of membership they have with us. This normally allows your membership at your new YMCA to be purchased at the renewal rate.• Financial Assistance Policy Our goal is to make our programs and services available to the entire community, regardless of a person/family’s inability to pay. Scholarship and financial aid are available for memberships and/or program fees and are based on financial need. • Code of Conduct
All individuals using the YMCA are expected to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the character, welfare, best interest and policies of the South Brunswick Family YMCA. Failure to do so will result in immediate dismissal from the premises and may result in revocation of membership and/or usage privileges.• Holiday/Special Hours The South Brunswick Family YMCA will be closed in observance of the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. In addition, the Y will close at 2 p.m. on December 24 and December 31. We appreciate your support as our employees spend time with their families. • Special Closings We reserve the right to close the facility for large special events or for the continued maintenance of portions or all of the facility/equipment. Notification will be through signage and email.• Inclement Weather Closings The YMCA post emergency closings information on 98.3 WMGQ FM or www.magic983.com and email to all members with valid email addresses on file.• Class Cancellations If we cancel a class every effort will be made to hold a make-up class. If we are unable to offer make-up, enrolled members will be given a credit on their account for the cancelled class. Credits are valid for one year. There are NO refunds for any class missed for personal reasons. All deposits are non–refundable • Youth Facility Usage Children enrolled in programs must have a parent/guardian in the building at all times.

1. Children under age 11 must be accompanied into the pool by a parent/guardian over the age of 18.

2. During recreational pool activities children over the age of 11 must have a parent/guardian in the YMCA building.

3. Children between the ages of 11-15 using the fitness center must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Kids Korner Policies
Kids Korner is a on-site babysitting service available to family facility members. There is a $5 fee for all other member categories. Limit is 2 hours per day per child. Parents must stay in the YMCA at all times and be using YMCA sponsored programs/activities. Parents/guardians must sign all children in/out of Kids Korner at the Welcome Center, obtain a voucher and present it to the a Kids Korner attendant. Snacks are not permitted. Drinks must be in a labeled, spill proof container. Monday-Friday 9:15am-12:00pm
4:00pm-8:30pm
Saturday 8:00am–1:00pm Sunday 10:00am-2:00pm

Light refreshments will be served and give-a-ways will handed out, while supplies last, as we thank you, our members, for your patronage.
